The national organization of Stonewall Libertarians (SLUS) exists for
the following purposes:
• To appoint qualified individuals to serve as Chapter Coordinators;
• To provide information, encouragement and support to help Chapter
Coordinators meet the requirements necessary to obtain a charter;
• To grant charters to all chapters meeting the organizational requirements
established for the formation of duly chartered chapters;
• To establish an annual Endorsement Standard/Policy Statement that candidates
for public office will be asked to adopt and upload to their website in return for our
endorsement;
• To endorse candidates for public office;
• To take positions on issues of concern to the membership;
• To maintain a Membership Roster of all individuals joining the organization;
• To guide the growth of the organization through policy initiatives, joining
coalitions, and establishing relationships with organizations similarly committed to
smaller government, lower taxes and more individual liberty;
• To help each chapter work on the purposes for which it was formed.
