As we begin the New Year, it's appropriate to review Johnson County
Right To Life, our mission, who we are and what we do.

Johnson County Right To Life is a chapter of Missouri Right To Life. We
meet monthly for one hour, normally on the second Monday of the month.
We have no dues and we accept and welcome donations. We typically do
not have fundraising ‘projects,’ since I think they tend to wear out the
workers and prospects.

Our primary mission is to inform and educate people about the Pro-Life
message and to promote respect and dignity for all human life. We do this
in a variety of ways, including inviting guest speakers to our meetings to
speak to the Johnson County Community on Pro-Life topics and issues.
We also informally partner with other organizations, including the Vitae
Caring Foundation and, locally, the New Beginnings Women’s Center, to
mutually inform, educate and urge people to, as Vitae so aptly puts it,
"think about it."

Similar to many groups, we have a small, active membership, and a much
larger extended membership who support life and participate when they
are able in scheduled events and in grass roots information and
education.

We invite you to attend our meetings and to participate according to your
schedule and time available. We will keep you posted on occasion by
email and comments on our web site when we have new information to
pass on to you. We also put out media releases for our meetings and
events, which area media have been gracious to air and to publish.

I hope to see you at our meetings and events and to hear from you if you
have any questions and suggestions. You can reach me by email at
tomfitzpatrick@earthlink.net or by phone at 660-747-5772.
Thanks!!

Chapter President
